Hagerstown Heartbreak: Power fall 5-4

The West Virginia Power wound up on the losing end of a 10-inning thriller against the Hagerstown Suns at Municipal Stadium on Tuesday afternoon. The Power scored all of their runs during an offensive explosion in the fifth inning en route to a 5-4 defeat in the series finale.

Too Much Too Late: Gnats win 6-3

The West Virginia Power lost 6-3 to the Savannah Sand Gnats in 10 innings at Appalachian Power Park on Friday night.

Bonus Baseball: Power win 7-6 in 15

The West Virginia Power walked off with a 7-6 extra inning win on Thursday, beating the Savannah Sand Gnats in 15 innings.

West Virginia Waves: Up and down ride to a win

The West Virginia Power pick up a win over the Delmarva Shorebirds in eleven innings in a wild battle at Arthur W. Perdue Stadium in Salisbury, Maryland. The Power lost their lead in the ninth to warrant additional frames and then collected a couple in the eleventh to end their road series with a victory.

Legendary Rally: Power fall 12-8

The West Virginia Power lost 12-8 to the Lexington Legends at Appalachian Power Park.

The West Virginia Power fell 3-2 to the Lexington Legends at Appalachian Power Park.

The West Virginia Power edged the Lexington Legends 6-5 on Saturday evening.

Woes to Walk-off: Power win in 10

The West Virginia Power rallied for a 10-9 extra inning win against the Lexington Legends on Thursday night.

Power Surge: Homers boost offense

The West Virginia Power were able to put together back to back road victories Wednesday evening for the first time since early June as they defeated the Hagerstown Suns 7-2 at Municipal Stadium. The Power closed the series at two games apiece with great pitching from starter Phillip Irwin and a couple of Power long balls to guide the offense.

Almost Perfect: Power win 7-3

The West Virginia Power used eight no-hit innings by starter Nathan Baker to cruise to a 7-3 victory over the Hagerstown Suns at Municipal Stadium on Tuesday evening. Baker kept the Hagerstown hitters off balance throughout the night, striking out eight as the Power won for the first time in this four game series.

Power Problems: Two run losses

The West Virginia Power weren't able to battle back against an early scoring onslaught from the Hagerstown Suns Monday evening at Municipal Stadium in Hagerstown, MD as they fall 9-7.

Just Like That: WV wins 5-1

The West Virginia Power collected a 5-1 win against the Delmarva Shorebirds Friday night.

Buck Night Blast: WV wins 8-3

The West Virginia Power beat the Delmarva Shorebirds 8-3 to snap a three-game losing streak.

The West Virginia Power lost to the Delmarva Shorebirds 7-1 Wednesday evening.

Rally Ruined: WV falls 5-4

The West Virginia Power closed their road series at NewBridge Bank Park in Greensboro with a 5-4 loss against the Grasshoppers. The Power put together a rally in the top of the eighth inning, but ultimately fell short of stealing a second win in the series.

Power Surge: Home Runs Carry WV to Win

The West Virginia Power secured their first victory of the season's second half with a 6-5 win over the Greensboro Grasshoppers at NewBridge Bank Park on Sunday afternoon. The Power relied heavily on the long ball throughout the fourth game of this five game set, scoring in both the third and ninth innings.

Fantastic 4: Power players to participate

Suddenlink Communications will offer exclusive live coverage of this evening's South Atlantic League All-Star Game from Greenville, South Carolina. The broadcast will be made available on the Suddenlink Information Channel, which is either channel 19 or 22 on the dial depending on the community. The first pitch from Fluor Field is scheduled for 7:15 pm, but the pre-game show is slated to air at 7:00 pm.

Roadtrip Replacements: Men's League $1 deals

Thursday June 24th Appalachian Power Park will be hosting the first Men's Senior League game of the 2010 season. The gates will open at 5:30 pm and two games will be played starting at 6pm and 8pm. The ballpark concessions stands will be open and operating with the same food and drink specials as traditional Buck Nights, with $1 draft beers, $1 fountain sodas, and $1 hot dogs. All tickets will be $6 at the gate and all seating in the ballpark will be general admission with open seating throughout.
