Fri (8:30 pm-10:30 pm) and Sat. (9 am-2 pm) the South Charleston First Church of the Nazarene will have their 5th Annual Women’s and Children’s Consignment Sale. Over 100 families have contributed quality clothing, baby items, children’s furniture and toys. Concessions will be available. Church is located at 4923 Kentucky St. South Charleston between Thomas Hospital and the Dunbar Bridge.)
Fri is World Day of Prayer…an ecumenical celebration of informal prayer…a Service will be sponsored by the Church Women United at Christ Church United Methodist Church. (Corner of Morris and Quarrier in Downtown Charleston.) Breakfast at 9:30 am (cost is $8.00) before the program at 11 am

Sat at the Big Sandy Superstore in Cross Lanes a Girl Scout cookie Sale from 10am-3 pm
Sat. at George Washington High School a “Mad Hatter Tea Party” from 2-5:30…a benefit to raise money for the local Sojourner’s Shelter. Tickets are $10 at the door for Students $12 for adults. They’ll have a variety of teas, dessert and tea sandwiches served by Book Club members…
Sat. at Evans Elementary the PTO will sponsor a Longaberger Basket Bingo starting at 3 pm
Sat. at the Hansford Center a Country Dance night from 6-9 pm Hot dog sale start at 5 pm.
