Well… I was born in Augusburg Germany on April 28th, 1964. I am the son of a 20 year vet of the US Army. I’ve got a younger brother Randy, and my baby sister Kelli. Our family traveled from Germany to Atlanta, Georgia, and then onto Logan, West Virginia where I spent my youth with a funny bunch of friends and family. I graduated from Logan High School in 1982, and was one of only 2 that graduated in the electronics course, me and my buddy Dick Ball (really… that’s his name.) I did a little college, decided to get married and start the building of the ball team (5 kids later.)
I’ve been in radio for about 16 years. I got my start in Logan at WLOG, working on the weekends and in Charleston at V100. I’ve also worked in Bluefield, Huntington, Charlotte North Carolina, and spent 7 years on Hilton Head Island…since then I’ve came back home to West Virginia! The worst job I've ever had would have to be being a fast food manager… people wouldn’t show up for work! I always knew even as a kid that I wanted to be a Disc Jockey.
People often ask me these questions...so, I'll answer them all here and now!!
If you won the Million Dollar Jackpot Today, what would you do? Pay off my house, give 10% to the church and Salvation Army, and put the kids through college.
If you could have dinner with anyone (past or present) who would it be? Jesus, my mother and dad, and the guy who invented Fix-A-Flat!!!
If you were stranded on a desert island for the next 10 years and one person was stuck with you, who would it be? Cecilia… she’s my wife, friend, & partner… and if I’m stuck…she’s stuck.
The food you can’t live without: any food…cept liver, can’t handle liver
What’s your favorite holiday: got to be Christmas
Top five movies of all time: Airplane, Top Secret, Fightners, Cash, and any Three Stooges Movies!
Three favorite TV shows: Thee Stooges, Drake & Josh, Yo-Gabba Gabba ( I have kids… this is TV to me)
What’s the funniest thing you’ve ever experienced: I got pantsed at the beach by a giant wave. It hit me so hard it took off my swim trunks and left me naked on the beach in North Carolina!! Not pretty… but really funny… at least my son Adam thought so… laughed himself sick!!
If they made a movie of your life, what star would play you: Jack Black
What would the title of the movie be: “WHATS WRONG WITH YOU!!”
You find a hundred dollar bill on the bank floor…. What do you do with it: LUNCH!! Really big lunch… that is… after I determined that it belonged to nobody.
