The Red House Wranglers 4-H club is hosting a Valentines Luncheon-Feb 12 Buffalo, WV. Bring your  sweetheart to the Buffalo Diner and enjoy a lunch of either steak or chicken with your choice of two sides served with salad, bread, dessert and drink for $25.00 a couple and $10.00 per child (children’s menu to be decided later). The Winfield High School Show Choir, "General Admission", will be have a fundraising spaghetti dinner on Sunday, Feb. 19.at 1:00p.m.  Shows will be at 1:30p.m., 2:30p.m., and 3:30pm. Cost is $7.  Please help support the show choir so they can compete around the country and show everyone what great talent we have here in West Virginia. 

 

 Dinner Theater – “A Cricket County City Easter “ a play by Eddie McPherson, presented by the Winfield United Methodist Youth Group on Friday, March 2nd & Saturday, March 3rd at the Winfield United Methodist Church (behind Winfield McDonald’s). Doors open at 6:00 p.m. and dinner and play begin at 6:30 p.m.  Tickets are by reservation only and are only $12.00 for adults or $ 8.00 for children 10 and under.  Children 3 and under are free and there will be child care available during the Acts of the play.   Sit back and enjoy a delicious dinner including an appetizer, salad, pork roast, stuffing, glazed carrots and a dessert while taking in a wonderful show!  Proceeds will benefit the Youth Mission Trip to Somerville, TN  this summer.  Call Winfield UMC at   304-586-3795 or winfieldumc@frontier.com to make your reservations.
 

 

Winfield United Methodist Women's group is selling cookbooks to raise funds for their mission projects including backpacks for foster children project. This  collection of over 400 favorite recipes was compiled by family and friends and is for sale for $10.00.  Call 304-586-3795 or winfieldumc@frontier.com  for more information.

Riverside HS Marching Band is raising money for uniforms. They participate in a fundraising thru recycling program that helps them earn money by collecting empty printer cartridges & cell phones. This is a year-long event. They are helping keep the earth clean while earning money for uniforms & other needed equipment. Please donate your empty printer cartridges, laser cartridges, cell phones, Ipods, & mp3 players. All proceeds go to RHS Marching Band. KV Mommies -  A group of local moms in the Kanawha and Putnam Co. area. KVMommies is a part of the nation wide Mommies Network. There is no fee to join the group. It's for all moms such as stay at home moms, working moms and even step moms... and a group for ALL ages.
