The Charleston Compassionate Friends is a self-help support group open to all parents who have lost a child. The goal of the group is to help those of all faiths understand what is happening and to provide support to get back on their feet. The group mostly meets on the 4th Monday of the month at 7 PM with a few exceptions depending on the holidays. The meeting location is CAMC Woman's and Children Hospital Family resource Center corner of Washington St and Pennsylvania Ave. The meeting dates for 2010 are Mon. July 26th, Mon. Aug. 23rd, Mon. Sept. 27th- Bench Dedication, Mon. Oct. 25th, Mon. Nov. 22nd & Mon. Dec. 12th-Candle Lighting.

KV Mommies - A group of local moms in the Kanawha and Putnam Co. area. KVMommies is a part of the nation wide Mommies Network. There is no fee to join the group.
